International Pairs Qualifier – 27th July 2008
This is a Stableford competition with the best score on each hole counting and with only a ¾ handicap allowance, it was game on for the 28 pairs entered. The competition was fierce with only one pair qualifying for a place in one of the semi-finals being played on the courses listed :-

The top spot was a close fought contest with 3 teams playing and scoring well. The overall winning team with a total of 41 points (on count back) was the pair of Gav Phillips and AA Powell, with last years qualifiers Neil and Julian being placed third.

2nd Sam Schwank / T. Indge – 41pts (on count back)
3rd N. Taylor / J Frost – 41pts (on count back)
