Welcome to Wernddu Golf Club
Wernddu is an undulating parkland course with magnificent views over Abergavenny and the Black Mountains. A long front nine combined with a shorter back nine provide a challenging round of golf for golfers of all standards.
Wernddu is a family run golf club set on the outskirts of the market town of Abergavenny. The course is southwest facing, on well drained soil and its layout complements the contours of the previous fruit farm.

The Golf Course
There are magnificent views over the Usk Valley and the seven hills of Abergavenny. The course is a par 69 and at 5,572 yards is a good test of golf. Water comes into play on six holes and the final hole whilst only at a par 3, is an outstanding finishing hole. More about the course...
Club History
During 1990 the Golf Driving Range was built, which proved so popular that in 1992 a 9-hole 'starter' Golf Course was established to encourage new comers to the wonderful game of Golf. The aim was to provide a more relaxed atmosphere than the more traditional Golf Club.
In 1994 the remaining land previously used for horticulture was developed into a second 9-hole course, and Wernddu Golf Club was founded.
